Dr. Leena Sripada (Athparia), ND enjoys working with individuals to treat health concerns and improve quality of life. Her caring and dedicated approach helps individuals feel supported and inspired to improve their health with treatments tailored to their unique constitution. Dr. Sripada identifies factors that contribute to chronic pain and illness. When factors such as diet and lifestyle are not aligned to an individual’s constitution, imbalance develops, progressing into chronic disease.

Blending modern diagnostic tools with traditional systems, Dr. Sripada treats the whole person and integrates natural therapies such as: Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine & acupuncture, cuppingnutrition, lifestyle counselling, homeopathy, botanical medicine and Ayurvedic massage.  She is one of the few naturopathic doctors in Toronto with extensive training in Ayurveda and Ayurvedic therapies.

leaf.jpgDigestive concerns: The Ayurvedic approach to digestive concerns involves an accurate assessment to identify imbalances of vata, pitta, kapha in the digestive system, as well as the state of agni and ama or toxic waste. Dr. Sripada uses herbs, diet & lifestyle, and Ayurvedic therapies to restore digestive balance.


Dr. Leena Sripada completed a BSc in Biological Sciences and a BA in French at the University of Calgary. She then completed the 4-year intensive Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Sripada further pursued her passion in Ayurvedic medicine at CAISH in a comprehensive 1500-hour program and is a certified Advanced Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor (AAWC). She has taken advanced courses in cupping therapy, aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy and continues to upgrade her training.

Dr. Leena Sripada, ND, is registered in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and the Ayurveda Association of Canada (AAC).
