Abhyanga or Ayurvedic massage is a traditional full body treatment that involves therapeutic massage techniques and specific acupressure points (marmas) to invigorate the body and mind and improve health conditions. Warm medicinal oils are customized according to your dosha or body type (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and the season. Read about the Benefits of Abhyanga Massage. In our modern times, abhyanga is very supportive for stress reduction, sleep disorders, blood and lymphatic circulation, mental alertness, joint pain, rejuvenation and anti-aging. Catalina tailors the treatments according to each individual health need

Her primary areas of focus include:

Over the years she has seen tremendous transformation in people’s health and wellbeing through Ayurvedic treatments. Her passion led her to further explore both western and eastern systems of health and find common ground with tools to incorporate into her practice that are adapted to the 21st century lifestyle.

Catalina completed the 1500-hour program of Advanced Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor (AAWC) at CAISH, a 230-hour certification for Abhyanga Ayurvedic massage, Ayurveda and Yoga Teacher (YTT), (Ayu-Yoga), a 300-hour Ayurveda Yoga Therapy training from Jai Wellness and a 100-hour Marma Nadi Therapy Chikitsa from CAISH.
