Salads
Winter salads are either comprised of dark-leafy greens such as spinach, swiss chard or kale or are made from root vegetables such as carrots, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes (yams), leeks etc. They can also be comprised of vegetables such as cabbage or legumes like lentils, kidney beans and other beans.
