Douglas Kostynyk
Douglas Kostynyk, RMT studied his Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan Massage School and graduated in 2007. He is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and Ontario Massage Therapist Association.
He believes relaxation offered by massage would be a key to a healthy mind, body and spirit. He also believes massage is a valuable tool for treating injuries caused by daily routines, sports related activities, motor vehicle accidents and even coping with occupational stresses.
Every massage he gives out, he will perform individual evaluation and assessment and utilize a variety of Swedish techniques, joint mobilization and myofascial work to help alleviate his client's discomfort. With a corporate background, he also has additional insight into how stress and improper postures can be detrimental to health, giving clients chronic shoulder pain, neck pain, low back pain, TMJ discomfort, carpal tunnel syndrome, tension headaches, sciatica, etc. His strong interest in all kinds of sports and dedication to baseball provide him with a great passion for dealing with sport injuries such as shoulder dislocation, sprains, strains, tendonitis, etc.
With excellent palpation techniques, he is able to hit all the right spots. It will be a great experience for clients to feel what a truly excellent treatment massage will be.
